Boredom or Torture?

Do you think that dressing up your baby and taking pictures is like little kids dressing up their cats and pushing them around strollers? I questioned my sanity once I saw these pictures, and whether or not I am officially torturing my baby. But she is so cute and I wanted some warm weather! This is the best we could do...

I bought this dress in Mexico (I bought one for my mom, sisters, and myself as well) for Lake Powell, but I am afraid the way she is growing she won't still fit in it in June. So we had to take pictures.
The bikini top is from my neice Mady from Hawaii.

She is sitting up by herself now, even when she's not on the couch. But I couldn't risk taking the picture and letting her sit up alone... in case she tanked it. :)

For those of you who know a little bit about being homebound, hula dancing with your baby to IZ (the huge Hawaiian guy who plays the ukelele on the end of You've Got Mail...) this will make more sense. Oh well, I think I have decided it was torture.

Good and Bad News!

So last week was a crazy one. In Young Womens ( I am Young Womens President and it is a learning experience) we are learning about the temple, and so we were taking our youth to do Baptisms on Tuesday and to tour the Draper Temple on Wednesday. The previous couple of days, Blake had been getting a cold, and it kept getting worse. So finally on Tuesday, about two hours before we were supposed to be taking the Youth to the Bountiful Temple, I decide Blake needs to see the doctor. She had a fever and didn't sleep a wink the night before and she cried every time I laid her down. I figured she had an ear infection, or worse, RSV, because she was developing a cough.
Dr Doug, our pediatrician, fit us in around 5:00 that day. I couldn't get a hold of any of my other leaders, so I finally just text messaged my young women to tell the leaders I wasn't going to make it...responsible, I know. Blake does not have an ear infection, and luckily, No RSV...yet. That was what Doug said. She had a viral infection which was in her eyes, stuffy nose, and gave her a sore throat, and was progressing to her lungs. He told me no crowded places AT ALL until after St. Patrick's Day. That meant church, grocery stores, malls, etc. I am going a little bit crazy. But I am so glad she doesn't have RSV and she seems to be feeling better.

I have sworn off Young Womens for a while, so I hope my leaders will survive. Blake and I are just going to hibernate for a while, so if anyone wants to come visit, we are ready!

P.S. She also weighed 15 lbs 8 oz and is just under 5 months
BIG BABY!
